Limited Warranty
DebitKey’s standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of shipment. DebitKey warrants that our equipment shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship and shall conform to applicable specifications, drawings, samples and/or descriptions. If DebitKey receives notice of such defects during the warranty period, DebitKey will, at its option, either repair or replace without charge, hardware products which prove to be defective, except as set forth below. All replaced parts become the property of DebitKey.
This Limited Warranty shall not apply to equipment failure resulting from:
- Improper or inadequate maintenance by purchaser, including failure to follow published cleaning schedules.*
- Unauthorized or non-DebitKey modifications to the product or misuse of the product.
- Improper site preparation and maintenance.
- Accident, disaster, or vandalism.
The foregoing warranties shall be subject to purchaser’s installing and maintaining the equipment in accordance with the specifications and directions supplied by DebitKey, and the customer shall be responsible for all transportation charges on warranty replacement or repair items returned to DebitKey.
DebitKey makes no representations or warranties other than those set forth. The warranty stated herein is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any expressed or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or against infringement, and such warranty constitutes the only warranty made by DebitKey with respect to this agreement to the DebitKey products listed, articles, materials, replacement parts, or services to be supplied hereby. DebitKey shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind.
Consumables: DebitKey does not warrant Keys or Keyports.
*DebitKey recommends that all bill validators be cleaned every two weeks (minimum). Due to environmental conditions, the cleaning procedure may be required more frequently. All bill validators are subject to the equipment manufacturer's warranty. Customer Support
Customer Support from DebitKey is available from our Sales Department, Project Management Department, and Customer Service Department. The department required depends on your area of need.
If you are a new customer or an existing customer with a new installation in mind, the Sales staff will assist you with selection of the appropriate types and quantities of equipment to suit your needs. The DebitKey Project Management Department is responsible for site development and specification of software and hardware installation.
The DebitKey Customer Service Department is available to answer technical questions Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST at (248)524-6370. In order to properly serve you in the swiftest manner, please have available at the time of your call the product part number, serial number, date of purchase, and as detailed a description of the problem as possible. In addition to technical support, the Customer Service Department staff will assist you in placing orders by providing the correct DebitKey part number for your particular equipment configuration.
